Almost a year

So, a few more books have been published, and another is on the way. I don't post as often as I probably should, but life gets away from me.
I've been on military orders since 2017 and this is the first time I've been off orders and have really enjoyed it. More assignments are in my future, but for now I'm getting 'In A Heartbeat' together and working on the next Valerie Hannigan novel, 'Up Shift Creek'.

Time Flies

So, as I have been busy with the military and travelling around the country, finding the time to get things done has been challenging.
However, I am in the actual process of getting my next two novels published.
'When The Shift Hits The Fan', and 'Shift Happens' have both started the publication process.
When will they be out? It usually takes a month or two for the whole process to happen, so let's say...mid-June.
I am nearly finished with 'Tough Shift', so we will see how long that one will take to get out there.
I am looking to finish some other projects and go straight to Kindle and Nook. Again, we will see how those other projects take.

Closing 2017

Okay,
So, I waffle between being really good at posting, and then sucking out loud. Since the military has kept me employed and moving around, I have sucked.
Anyway, as I have already alluded, 'When the Shift Hits the Fan' is complete and ready to publish. My artwork is nowhere to be seen and I haven't heard from the artist in months. I will assume he's busy and has no time for this project.
Next is the financial end. I am torn between trying to go with the full soft cover books and ebooks and such, or just going with the word to kindle approach. That would be easier and way less expensive.
Writing without a publisher, representative and the like is costly and I would rather kill my credit card debt, not add to it.
I will investigate publishing to Nook as well.
I will be heading out to the wilds of Wisconsin for the first half of the coming new year, and I will attempt to stay warm.

April? Already?

So, as I warned; I suck at posting regularly. Life's been more challenging than normal and it's really throwing me. Right now, I am down with a virus that is making me miserable! But, it also means I can't go to work and have some downtime to get some things done. Such as, uploading some jewelry to ETSY(SimplyDunnbyHolly), organizing an IndiGoGo campaign, getting some stuff up onto Craigslist, and a veritable cornucopia of other house bound thing on an ever growing list.
Anywho, Book number three is in editing and I'm waiting for my artist to complete the cover art.
When the Shift Hits the Fan is an exciting and wild ride, but don't worry, book four, Shift Happens, is complete! So you won't stay in suspense for too long after WTSHTF is released.
I will be trying for crowd funding again. This time I will use IndiGoGo. No matter how much is raised I will get the funds, even if it doesn't reach my goal. And, like last time, the book will publish with or without reaching the goal.
So, keep your eyes peeled for the IndiGoGo campaign launch and the next novel following Valerie Hannigan and her dragon shifting mate!

Just an update, nothing special.

I know I'm not very consistent in posting to my blog, but life is crazy. Anyway, 'Shifting Gears' is out and available on Amazon.com in paperback, hardback and Kindle formats. I'm really happy with the arc the story is taking and when book three, 'When the Shift Hits the Fan' is fully edited it will be out and available as well. I'm still trying to work out the cover for it, but I'm sure that's just a matter of keeping on top of the artist.
Book four, 'Shift Happens' is completed as well, but I'm going to go over that a few more times before handing it to anybody. It was really emotional to write.
I am working on a number of novels that are outside of Valerie's universe and a few that are just outside of her, but in the same universe. I'm trying to have some fun, but be productive at the same time.
